The Charhut’s
Angela and John’s wedding was a day full of surprises, an emotional ceremony, and a great dance party. The night before Angela’s backyard wedding, we had immense flooding that took over her reception location. After a long night of debating they decided to have the wedding in their walk out basement. However the morning of her wedding, a hotel reception space was secured and the JaM team was able to move all her belongings over with just minutes to spare. They had a beautiful emotional ceremony, and everyone partied all night long (why go home when there’s a candy bar, late night pizza, and an awesome DJ)! Angela’s wedding was a night to remember, and we were so happy to be able to be there to help them through their last minute change.
The Greco’s
Layla and Kevin’s big day was a perfect start to the 2021 wedding season. Though it was a cold February wedding, they had so much warmth from all the love that day! Their venue – The Brix- offered a warm and inviting ambiance for the evening, while Layla’s blush pink color choice offered a complimenting brightness. There were so many eye catching details but their cake made by Delishcakes630 was most definitely a highlight!
The Browns
Leslie and Clifton enjoyed the best of both worlds for their October wedding. They were able to enjoy their hometown of Chicago; while getting ready and taking beautiful pictures in multiple locations. At the same time getting that small town feel during their intimate wedding at the beautiful Stonebridge Country Club. With a covid wedding the guest count may have been smaller, but the party was not! With Mattrix Music guiding the dance floor, it was a fun night to remember.
Styled Shoot
With fall approaching I wanted to showcase some inspiration for the season. Located at The Haight located in Elgin, we chose a boho theme with warm colors and accents of gold. My favorite thing about this shoot was allowing the vendors freedom and creativity in their work. There are so many beautiful photos online, but if you give your vendors freedom, i promise you will receive beautiful and original masterpieces! Grooms Tip: if you want a more boho look but still classy, wear a belt and suspenders. Match the suspenders to the pants, and match the belt with the shoes. Donohue Wedding
This August wedding was vintage with some special modern touches! With the Stonebridge Country Club as your venue; you can’t go wrong. The outside ceremony location overlooked the golf course on this sunny summer day, and the bride and groom had a special surprise from the golfers as they said “I Do.” The reception was filled with beautiful blush and an added touch of greenery creating a elegant vision. Not only was this wedding gorgeous but it was a blast! To an exciting garter toss, and guests dancing in their chairs; it was a successful night for everyone. Congrats to the Donohue’s.
